2 injured in 3-car wreck near Corbin

CORBIN, Ky. (WATE) - Two people were injured Monday when three cars collided on a highway near Corbin.

The wreck happened shortly after 5:15 p.m. on KY 3041 (Corbin By-pass) when a 17-year-old from Whitley County lost control of her car and crossed the center line.

The teen's car hit nearly head-on a car driven by Dwayne Wilder. Another driver, Archie Miller, was traveling in the same direction behind Wilder. Miller was unable to avoid a collision and struck Wilder's car.

The teen was taken to Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin before being transported to University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Her condition was not reported. The Kentucky State Police says she was not wearing a seatbelt.

Miller was taken to Baptist Regional Medical Center for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.
