NEWPORT (WATE) - A Cocke County man was arrested early Saturday morning during a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
According to the Cocke County Sheriff's Office, 21-year-old Adam Walker got into an argument with his girlfriend, Amber Evans, because she wasn't drinking with him.
When she refused, Walker went into the kitchen and retrieved a meat cleaver.
He then came back into the living room and struck Evans in the foot with the cleaver, cutting her sole.
Walker was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
