KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A local family invited the whole neighborhood into their home on Monday morning for what's become an annual tradition they call "Rabbit Breakfast."

Yes, rabbit is on the menu. It's also the most requested dish.

The Mills family in Lonsdale started the breakfast about 15 years ago, and it's only gotten bigger.

Now, about 50 people stop by and the hosts say there's one question all of them ask.

"Do you have any rabbit left?" said Annette Hardin, laughing. "We just enjoy doing it, seeing people smile. A lot of people might not have a breakfast for Christmas, so they can come and get it."

"And they enjoy it too, just like we do, and they look forward to it," said Carl Mills.

They see a lot of people coming back every year, as well as new faces thanks to word of mouth.
