KNOXVILLE (WATE) - It's not the way the Lady Vols wanted to start the New Year. Sophomore forward Cierra Burdick has been diagnosed with a broken hand according to a tweet from the Tennessee athletics department. Burdick broke her right hand playing basketball on New Year's Eve and is out indefinitely.
The sophomore from Charlotte is averaging 8.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season.
