Police ID electrocuted construction worker


KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville police have identified the man killed Monday after being shocked at a construction site on Neyland Drive.

Michael Tallent, 27, of Powell, received a high-voltage shock while working at the Kuwahee Wastewater Treatment Plant near Fort Loudon Lake on Neyland Drive.

Tallent was taken to University of Tennessee Medical Center where he later died of his injuries.

He was an employee of W&O Construction Company. The company was working on a plant construction project that had been underway for several months.
