KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Vols announced Wednesday the cost of hiring a new coaching staff for the football team.
The total bill for new head coach Butch Jones' assistant coaches is nearly $3.3 million per year according to a list of salaries provided by the University of Tennessee to WATE 6 News.
That includes salary and something called guaranteed supplemental compensation.

Leading the way, Offensive Coordinator Mike Bajakian and Defensive Coordinator John Jancek will make $470,000 annually.
Head Coach Butch Jones will be paid just over $1.7 million this year.
