KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Knoxville Police Department is searching for a suspect who robbed a restaurant on Wednesday night.
It happened just before 9:30 p.m. at the Subway on the 300 block of Merchant Drive.
Police said the suspect entered Subway armed with a knife and demanded money from the cash register.
The suspect took the cash and then fled.
The robber's face was covered with a black ski mask.
No one was injured during the robbery, and the investigation is ongoing.
