KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A second suspect in the robbery of a North Knox County pharmacy was arrested in his home early Friday.
Cody Justin Beeler, 24, was found by officers just after 2:00 a.m. hiding under the covers of his bed in his home on Foust Hollow Road
Beeler was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to obey court orders and is being held on a $2,500 bond.
He is also accused in a robbery that took place Tuesday at the drive-thru window of the CVS Pharmacy, 4500 East Emory Road in Halls Crossroads.
Knox County sheriff's investigators say Beeler and Christopher James Field, 23, gave a note to the pharmacist demanding medication. They allegedly threatened to kill people in the store if they did not get the drugs.
Field was arrested Tuesday night in Beeler's home without incident.
Authorities say Field confessed to the robbery.
Beeler and Field have a history of multiple crimes in Knox County.
