"One pot" meth lab busted; 2 men arrested


ALCOA (WATE) - Police have arrested two Maryville men after uncovering a meth lab operation Friday afternoon.

Investigators with the Drug Task Force responded to the Executive Lodge on Hall Road in Alcoa to investigate a possible meth lab. 

They say they found a "one pot" meth lab inside a backpack, along with other evidence that meth was produced recently.

Deputies arrested 28 year old Michael Bishop and 30 year old Jeremy Robinson. Both are charged with initiation of the manufacture of methamphetamine. Bishop has prior drug charges.
