KINGSTON (WATE) - A Roane County man is facing charges for allegedly punching his six-year-old child in the face.
Deputies say Brent Litton, 29, hit his child last month after the boy said he wasn't allowed to drink juice or soda.
Litton was arrested and charged with child abuse.
He was released on bond, but was taken back into custody after trying to contact his son, which was a violation of the terms of the bond.
He's scheduled to be back in court in February.
