WHITE PINE (WATE) - A White Pine man has been indicted in a June 2012 murder and arson.
Jeffery Burke, 56, was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with the death of Eddie Taylor White, 72, of White Pine.
Both men lived at the Crown Inn Motel on Phillips Road.
According to a White Pine Police Department report, White's body was found in the lobby of the hotel after firefighters responded to and extinguished a fire at the building.
Though investigators ruled the death a homicide, they were not able to determine an exact cause of death.
On January 3, Burke was indicted by a grand jury for second degree murder, aggravated arson, vandalism and abuse of a corpse.
