SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - Community members came out to show their support for Regen Morris, an 11-year-old boy from Gatlinburg battling cancer, during a benefit at the Sevierville Chick-fil-A.
Hundreds lined up around the restaurant for the benefit. Proceeds went to help Regen's family.
Regen was hospitalized November 5, 2012 with Anaplastic Astrocytoma. The cancer has left him with three malignant tumors. It puts Regen at the risk of death.
Regen, who just turned 12 Thursday, is currently admitted to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
Every cent donated will go to Regen's family. You can find out more about Regen's fight and information on how to donate by going to the
benefit site.
