Armed robber holds up pizza restaurant


KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Two suspects are on the run, after robbing a West Knox county Domino's Pizza Saturday afternoon. 

The robbery took place just before 3 p.m. at the restaurant located at 11408 Kingston Pike. 

The suspect, wearing a black mask, walked into the business with a gun in his waistband and demanded money from the register. After getting the cash, deputies say he took off towards the interstate in an older model two-toned maroon minivan with gold or silver on the bottom. 

The suspect is described as a white man, between 5'9" and 6' tall, 190-210 pounds and about 30-40 years old. He was also believed to have been wearing glasses with a maroon sweatshirt, tan shorts and white tennis shoes. 

The driver of the minivan is described as a white woman with grey hair, possibly in her 50s and wearing a green shirt.
