ALCOA (WATE) - The name of a woman who died early Thursday morning when her Alcoa apartment caught fire was released Sunday.

Alcoa fire officials say Joany Diane Burger, 51, died at Blount Memorial Hospital after she was found in a back room of her apartment at 340 Sanderson Rd.

Alcoa firefighter Dan Harris was injured while responding to the fire. Harris broke his leg when he fell about three feet from the rear of a fire engine.
