KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Middle Tennessee man was arrested by Knoxville police for trying to solicit an underage girl online.
Ryan Bartger Clark, 21, of Monterey, was
arrested after investigation found that he had been sending inappropriate text messages to a 12-year-old girl via Facebook.
The girl's parents contacted Knoxville police's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force
(ICAC), which began an undercover operation into Clark's activities.
Clark was charged with three counts of solicitation of a minor.
Clark is being held on a $25,000
bond at the Knox County Detention Facility.
