KNOXVILLE (WATE) - There was another hot-blooded competition during the first intermission at Saturday's Knoxville Ice Bears game.
Dozens of little guys and gals went head-to-head in the annual "Baby Derby."
It was a tight race for the finish line as moms and dads coaxed their kids with toys and treats.
Unfortunately, not everyone could take the pressure.
Only one baby emerged as the winner. 11-month-old R.J. Dodrill successfully crawled to victory.
His parents say they are thrilled he is a winner at such a young age.
As for the Ice Bears, they also finished the night with a victory, beating the Mississippi RiverKings 4-3.
