KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Police are searching for multiple suspects after an armed robbery in East Knoxville Saturday evening.
It happened at 8:16 p.m. at the Holston Package liquor store located at 4207 Asheville Highway.
Police say two men entered the store. One of the suspects struck an employee several times, knocking him to the ground. The second suspect, armed with a handgun, approached another employee demanding cash from the register.
The suspect was able to take the money and both suspects ran off.
Anyone with information is asked to call Knoxville Police.
