ALCOA (WATE) - Frontier Airlines will resume service between McGhee Tyson Airport and Denver International Airport, the company announced Monday.
Service will resume on May 17 with one flight to and from Denver offered three days per week.
"Our customers
have thoroughly enjoyed our low fares and convenient service into Knoxville
during the peak summer months and we're thrilled to bring them that same low
fare access to Knoxville this summer," said Daniel Shurz, Frontier's Senior Vice
President, commercial.
The new flights
are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, departing from Knoxville at 11:20 a.m. and will operate through early
September.
The airline offered the flights last summer, but tapered off the service last fall, with the last flight departing in December.
