NORRIS (WATE) - An Anderson County High School student was killed Monday night and another was injured in a car wreck on Andersonville Highway.

Cameron Sharp, 17, was killed in the wreck that happened around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection with Norris Freeway.

Evan Weaver, 18, was transported via Lifestar to UT Medical Center.

Both students were seniors at Anderson County High School.

A prayer vigil was held for the two students Tuesday morning at the school. Grief counselors were also made available for students.

The accident is reminiscent of when five Anderson County High School students were injured in a car accident in March, 2012.

The students became known as the "AC5", even gaining a hashtag in which people directed prayers to via Twitter and Facebook.
