KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The victim of a shooting was pronounced dead early Wednesday shortly after arriving in a Knoxville hospital.
Police officers were sent to the 300 block of Bell Street after a disturbance call.
When they arrived the found Deshawn Dupree King, 18, in a Ford Explorer with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at UT Medical Center.
Two suspects described as black
males dressed in all black fled in an unknown direction after the
shooting.
Investigators are continuing to review evidence recovered from the scene and
conducting interviews with witnesses.
