KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A man was wounded after being shot at a hotel Thursday.
Knoxville Police say they responded to a shooting call just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Days Inn on Asheville Highway.
Officers say they found a man in a room suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim was taken to UT Medical Center for treatment and is expected to recover.
The investigation is ongoing.
