MARYVILLE (WATE) - A man is in critical condition after being shot Sunday afternoon in Blount County.
Officers were called around 4:45 p.m. to the 800 block of Marcaro Lane in Maryville.
They say a 36-year-old man was shot. He was taken to the UT Medical Center by helicopter.
A 37-year-old man was taken in custody in connection with the shooting. His name has not been released and no charges have been announced.
The shooting is still under investigation.
