KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Police are searching for a man believed to have robbed a convenience store armed with a knife.
It happened around 7:45 p.m. Sunday at the BP gas station on the 3100-block of Chapman Highway.
Police say a man went up to the clerk with a knife. He then demanded cash from the register. The clerk handed over the money, and the suspect took off.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 5'7" and 145 lbs. He was wearing jeans, a yellow shirt or jacket, gloves, and a black mask.
Anyone with information is asked to call Knoxville police.
