KNOXVILLE (WATE) - An argument in an East Knoxville motel turned violent Monday night, leaving one man stabbed and in the hospital.
Bradley Sewell told police he was visiting a friend shortly after 9:30 p.m. at the Deluxe Inn Motel, 2801 E Magnolia Ave., when he was stabbed and assaulted.
According to police, Sewell's friend allowed several men into his motel room. Sewell said everyone was very intoxicated and they began to argue.
The argument turned violent and Sewell was hit in the face with a beer bottle, then stabbed in the left side with a knife.
Sewell then walked across the street before calling for help.
Sewell told police he knew who his attacker was and declined to press charges.
