KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Signs posted on the Houston family farm in Rockwood are coming down.

Leon Houston's former lawyer, Jim Logan tells 6 News he was awarded control of the property Tuesday by a Roane County probate judge.

Logan says Houston owes thousands of dollars in unpaid fees from his successful legal defense.

The signs, posted last summer, accuse officials of corruption and display pictures of the two men killed in a 2006 shootout with the Houston brothers.

Logan removed one sign immediately and plans to have the rest down by week's end.

Rocky Houston and his brother Leon were arrested last month and now face federal gun charges.
