Manhunt for Campbell County home burglary suspect

DUFF (WATE) - A man hunt in for a burglary suspect ends with no arrest Wednesday. Deputies say it all started with a traffic stop around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday near 25W and Highway 90.

Deputies say the driver was armed with a handgun and ran into the woods. In attempt for search for the suspect, deputies and a SWAT team spent part of the evening canvassing the mountainous area known as "Tussey Cut." That search ended just before 7 p.m. Wednesday. The suspect was not located.

Authorities believe the driver is a suspect in a rash of home burglaries.

Investigators say they're still processing the scenes of several of the burglaries.
