NASHVILLE (WATE) - After a great recruiting class in 2012, James Franklin followed up by signing 26 players to the class of 2013 and rated in the top 20 for the first time in the program's history.
Franklin says he is just getting started at Vanderbilt.
On the field, the Commodores had their best season last year since 1915.
Among the commitments signed were 13 offensive players, 12 defensive players and a kicking specialist. Two quarterbacks in the group will vie to replace Jordan Rodgers, who is graduating.
Three recruits were prep All-Americans and 17 players earned four-star rankings.
