KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Knoxville woman was arrested Wednesday after being indicted on child abuse charges.
Ashley Nicole Williams, 28, of North Knox County was taken into custody around 2 p.m. without incident.
Williams' arrest came after a 15-month investigation that began in Nov. 2011 and led to a grand jury indictment.
No other details about the crime have been released.
She's being held at the Knox County Detention Facility on a $200,000 bond.
