KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville's last surviving Blockbuster store is closing its doors.
The Northshore Drive location in West Knoxville will close April 7.
According to a sign on the door, the final day to rent movies has already passed.
The company is offering two months free membership in its DVD-by-mail service.
Just last month Blockbuster announced it would close 300 more stores nationwide, leaving just 500 locations remaining for the once-dominant video rental chain.
