KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Fire crews made quick work of a house fire in South Knoxville Saturday night.
Around 9:20 p.m., firefighters responded to a call from a homeowner saying his house on the 600-block of Goldfinch Ave. was on fire.
When crews arrived, they found the front bedroom fully engulfed in flames. They were able push the flames back and protect the other parts of the home.
The man inside was transported to the hospital with minor burns.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
