KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Two men had to be pulled from a creek by rescuers Wednesday night after the men fell down an embankment during a fight.

The rescue happened on Second Creek, just off Blackstock Avenue and Fifth Avenue.

Knoxville Fire Department Capt. D.J. Corcoran says the two men were arguing when they fell down a 10-foot embankment into the water.

Knoxville Fire Department and Rural/Metro rescuers used stretchers and rope to pull the men to safety.

Both men were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
