KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Knoxville man was arrested Friday in connection with a Knox County Schools bus that was stolen earlier in the week.

Bus number 117 disappeared Wednesday from the driver's home on Prosser Road in East Knoxville. The bus was later recovered in Anderson County.

Hillman Greenlee, 61, is accused of selling the bus for $1,200 to another person while the real owner was out of town.

The value of the bus is approximately $2,000.

Greenlee was arrested at his residence. He is charged with one count of theft.

Greenlee is a bus driver himself. He worked for contractor Horace Blakely.

Knox County Schools officials say Greenlee has been removed from the approved roster for bus drivers.
