ATHENS (WATE) - University of Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban will be in Big Orange Country this summer.
Saban will be a guest speaker at the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce benefit dinner on June 11, 2013.
Organizers say the dinner benefits the community, and the invitation wasn't aimed to insult Vols fans.
"We're looking for someone that can be motivational and people can take away something as far as leadership qualities, something motivational," said Rob Preston, Athens Chamber President and CEO. "And, when he speaks, he speaks very little about football and more about leadership."
Saban agreed to the event back in May 2012.
