Lincoln Memorial University cuts 13 faculty jobs

HARROGATE (WATE) - Lincoln Memorial University is cutting several faculty positions due to an unexpected drop in enrollment.

According to the university's Senior Director of Marketing and Public Relations Kate Reagan, 13 faculty members from the "Carter and Moyers School of Education."

Reagan said the cut was due to an unexpected drop in graduate education enrollment.

The Harrogate school will drop from about 700 to 1,000 in those programs to only about 200 students.
