KNOXVILLE (WATE) - New parking hours along Gay Street in downtown Knoxville are being enforced beginning this week.

The time limit for public on-street parking spaces between Summit Hill and the Gay Street Bridge is increased to two hours, but the time limit will be enforced during extended hours.

The hours for the time limit are from 6 a.m. until midnight, seven days a week.

Warnings will be issued for two weeks starting Monday.

Full enforcement will begin March 11 with citations and towing.
