KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville police say they are continuing to investigate the armed robbery of several East Knoxville residents in their home Friday night, but the victims are not helping much.
A shot was fired during the home invasion in the 3000 block of East Fifth Avenue. Police say four women and two men who said they had been robbed at gunpoint.
The names of the victims were released Monday. They are:
- John Jack, 44
- Ebony Burton, 31
- Chasity Clemons, 37
- Lataya Dixon, 32
- Carvin Dupont, 39
- Ezelia Nelson, 55
The victims told police three masked men entered an unlocked door. One of the suspects had a shotgun and another was armed with a small handgun.
Though the shotgun was fired, no one was hit.
Three purses were taken before the suspects fled on foot.
Police say the victims remain uncooperative with investigators.
