KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Texas Roadhouse gave a big thanks to Knoxville firefighters for working a recent fire at the restaurant.

The Texas Roadhouse near West Town Mall was the target of arson in late November and was forced to close. It reopened several days later.

To show their appreciation to firefighters for saving the building from extensive damage, the restaurant donated $1,500 Knoxville Firefighters Local 65.

The firefighters said they will use the money to sponsor several burned children, sending them to the Burned Children's Foundation, Camp Phoenix.
