KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Community members are helping out children with heart problems at the annual "Saving Little Hearts" dinner Saturday evening.
The dinner and auction was held at the Orangery in West Knoxville.
Good Morning Tennessee anchor Tearsa Smith was the main host at the event.
Proceeds from the event go toward supporting children with heart defects and their families.
"This organization puts together packages that are supportive of them," said Dr. Mike Liske. "It provides comfort and aid and helps them get through the struggle of the heart surgery."
