KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A man wanted for attempted murder in a shooting outside a North Knoxville nightclub last November was arrested late Tuesday after a brief chase.

Arterious Dewayne North, 19, was arrested on Bertrand Street in East Knoxville.

He is accused of first degree attempted murder in the shooting of Robert Paschal, 26, of Knoxville.

Paschal was shot on November 11. 2012, at the Malibu 7 Restaurant and Dance, 2514 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Police say North had been involved in a fight at the club when he allegedly went to his car, got a gun, then returned to the club and fired several shots.

Paschal was critically injured in the shooting.
