KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Knoxville twin sisters known as the Love Kitchen Sisters celebrated their 85th birthday Thursday.

A party was held for Helen Ashe and Ellen Turner at the Love Kitchen, a facility the sisters founded and have used to serve food to the hungry in Knoxville since 1986.

The pair said they are overwhelmed by all of the community's support for their cause.

"This picks us up and makes us feel happy. We don't feel our age do we, do we?" said Helen.

With that, Ellen started a little dance.

"We're not going to dance! We're not going to dance" Helen replied.

"We're not going to dance?" Ellen asked.

"No, I can't," Helen answered with a laugh.

The sisters have received many honors for their work, including the Tribute to Women Award from the YWCA last year.

They were featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show and Secret Millionaire in 2011.
