KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville's downtown Visitor Center showed off some new features Thursday.

The center, located at the corner of Gay Street and Summit Hill Drive, now has a "Where in the World" board. It is a map allowing tourists to pinpoint where they're visiting from and leave messages for Knoxville citizens.

There's also a new iPad station with information on attractions around the city.

A new "Let's Visit Knoxville Experience Board" features pictures and comments by locals on Knoxville locations. The comments have been submitted to the Visitor Center's Facebook page.

The organization that runs the visitor center, Visit Knoxville, has expanded a service to Knox County hotels. County-wide and downtown maps are distributed to hotel locations to help guests with directions and information about Knoxville.
