KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Two middle school students have been disciplined after they were found playing with toy guns.
Knox County school officials say the two students from South Doyle Middle School were seen pretending to shoot at each other with toy cap guns.
The toys can be attached to a key chain, and the caps produce a sharp snapping sound.
Both toys were confiscated, and the students have been disciplined. School officials are not allowed to disclose the level of discipline, but they do say the toys were in violation of the school's "zero tolerance" policy.
