SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - A log cabin in Sevierville is destroyed after a brush fire gets out of control.
Fire dispatchers received the call Saturday at 2:51 p.m. The fire began next door to a home on the 3000 block of Hatcher Mountain Rd.
A man was burning some brush, when he lost control of the flames. They spread to a nearby log cabin.
The cabin was completely destroyed. The home's owner says it was being used for storage at the time.
A mobile home next door received some minor damage.
No injuries were reported.
