KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Madisonville family welcomed home a soldier from Afghanistan Saturday night.

Private First Class Brent Ogle, 22, graduated from Sequoyah High School in Monroe County before enlisting in the army.

He arrived at Knoxville's Mcghee Tyson Airport around 10:30 p.m., although he was originally scheduled to land at 2 p.m.

His family has been eager for his arrival, but it wasn't just friends and relatives that greeted him.

Patriot Guard Riders lined the airport with flags.

PFC Ogle will only be home for a few weeks before heading back to Fort Riley, Kansas.

"Surprisingly, it doesn't look like much has changed.  I like being back home," Ogle said.

Specialist Danial Ferris, 21, also from Madisonville, is expected to return home Sunday at 3 p.m.
