WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WATE) - A routine traffic stop led to a drug bust and DUI on Saturday night, according the Whitley County Sheriff's Office.
It happened just before 9 p.m. on Highway 92 in Whitley County.
Deputies approached the vehicle, and the occupants appeared extremely nervous.
A search of the vehicle with K-9 Blitz revealed prescription drugs and marijuana. The driver of the vehicle, 45-year-old Kathy Prices of Williamsburg, failed a sobriety test and was charged with DUI.
One of the passengers, 36-year-old Lester Watson of Williamsburg, had a bag of pills in his pocket and a large bag of marijuana. The other passenger, Ronnie Croley, 49, of Williamsburg, also had pills.
Watson is being charged with possession of a controlled substance first degree, possession of a controlled substance second degree, possession of marijuana and a bench warrant.
Croley was charged with possession of a controlled substance second degree.
All three were booked in the Whitley County detention center.
K-9 Blitz helped deputies to find 15 hydrocodone pills, four Percocet pills and a quarter pound of marijuana.
