KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The name of a Knoxville teenager who died after being shot Friday in a drive-by shooting was released Monday.

Knoxville police say Hakeem Jackson, 17, was struck in the chest by a bullet while walking in the 2300 block of Woodbine Avenue in East Knoxville.

Witnesses say Jackson and his brother were walking down the street when shots were fired at them from a gray sedan.

The investigation into the shooting continues as police conduct interviews and review evidence recovered from the scene.
