Pigeon Forge voters return to polls to cast ballots on liquor by the drink

PIGEON FORGE (WATE) - Election day is Thursday as Pigeon Forge votes again on whether to allow liquor by the drink.

Early voting wrapped up Saturday. The Sevier County Election Commission says 1,035 ballots were cast ahead of election day.

In November, voters approved liquor by the drink, but the vote was thrown out after a local group sued the election commission.

Election officials found that voters living outside of the city had been allowed to vote on the issue.
