MARYVILLE (WATE) - Federal agents are searching for a bank robbery suspect.
Authorities say a man walked into the Capital Bank on Foothills Mall Drive just after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
They say the man gave a teller a note demanding money. He was able to take some cash before fleeing on foot.
He's described as a white male in his late twenties or early thirties, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 with an average build. Witnesses say he has brown hair and scruffy facial hair. He was also wearing an olive or tan Carhartt style jacket and blue jeans.
