ROGERSVILLE (WATE) - Two men are now facing murder charges after a deadly stabbing in Hawkins County.
It happened early Sunday at the Boyd Street Apartments in Rogersville.
Police found Roger Hawkins, 52, dead at the scene. He had been severely beaten and stabbed several times.
Austin Price, 18, and Samuel Hirsch, 22, were arrested and charged with first degree murder.
Police believe robbery was the motive, as several items were taken from Hawkins' apartment.
Police say Hawkins was a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
