KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville police have released the identity of the man killed early Friday morning in a wrong-way crash on I-40.
Scott Lakeland Hankal, 24, of Knoxville, was killed when he struck a tractor-trailer while driving the wrong way on westbound I-40.
The driver of the truck, Scott Beaman, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and released later Friday.
Police have not released any details about why Hankal was driving the wrong way.
